The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of a hill in rough upland pasture with a lot of rock outcrop. There are commanding views over valleys to the S, W, and N and a fair view to the E though slightly overlooked by small ridge. Land drops very steeply to S, W, N and rises slightly to E. Identified on a Geological Survey of Ireland aerial photograph (roll 43, print 18). A complex consisting of an enclosure and associated field banks (KK008-032002-), some of which may be the remains of other structures. The roughly circular enclosure (diam. 21.2m N-S; 24.4m E-W) is defined by a low earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m at base; Wth at top 1m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) with an entrance (Wth c. 2m) at the SE. The interior is flat and has rock outcrop.
