The National Monuments Service's description

One of three fulachta fia in an area of forestry in the SE corner of a field sloping down to a marshy area at N. A horseshoe-shaped mound (diam. 10m; H 0.4m) composed of burnt stone and ash, with traces of a depression (L 2m; Wth 1m) at NNW. The burnt stone appears to be mostly quartzitic sandstone. The monument is largely overgrown with briars and sally. Two fulachta fia (KK005-076---- and KK005-098----) lie 3m to SE and 5m to NW respectively. (Byrne et al. 2010)
