The National Monuments Service's description
Just below the crest of a low gentle hillock in gently undulating terrain, in tillage. Views are limited by the N and E but are good to the S and W. A flat-topped, grass-covered clay mound (H 1.2m; top diam. 5.5m; base diam. 11.4m N-S; 12.5m E-W). A small mound (H 0.8m; diam. c. 2.8m) of clay with stones has been dumped against the SSW edge.
