The National Monuments Service's description
In rolling cultivated grassland on the gently sloping E side of a small stream valley. A roughly circular area (34m E-W; c. 38m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m; int. H c. 1m; ext. H c. 1.2m) and an external fosse (Wth c. 3m; D 0.2-0.3m). The bank has been heightened in modern times by the fill of a slight trench around the perimeter of the interior. The S edge was partly cut away in widening a farm road. The interior is flat and slopes very slightly to W.
