In rolling grasslands on slightly rising ground on the floor of the Nore river valley, W of the river. Rectangular church (int. dims. 15.3m x 8.5m; side walls H 2.6m; gables H c. 4m; wall T c. 1.05m), aligned E-W, built of roughly coursed stones, with substantial punch-dressed quoins. There is graveyard (KK004-002001-) immediately to the S. There is a punch-dressed pointed doorway (Wth 1m; H 2.2m), with drawbar-hole, W of centre in the S wall. The interior was lit by a flat-headed window (Wth 0.2m) with punch dressing in the E gable and a window (Wth 0.4m) at the E end of the S wall. A robbed out section E of centre in the N wall (Wth 3.6m) may have contained a doorway or a window. There is a flat-headed aumbry (Wth 0.43m; H 0.48m) beneath the window in the S wall, probably a piscina, with punch dressing on the surrounds. There is an offset in the E gable (H c. 2.5m above floor level). The internal W gable was not visible at time of inspection, being obscured by bales of hay. The church appears to be late medieval or 17th century in date.
