The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the SE bank of the Drimminboy River. An oval cairn (3m E-W; 2.5m N-S; H 0.45m), which is partly grass-covered, comprises stones of various shapes and sizes. There is a hut site (KE111-017001-) 12m to the W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
