The National Monuments Service's description
A rock-cut road tunnel (Wth 5.8m; H 3.7m; L c. 170m) on the GlengarriffKenmare road. This tunnel was constructed in the 1830s. Three shorter tunnels (KE110-008----, KE110-009----) are to the NW.
