The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, 3m S of a steam that flows into Cummeenadillure Lough. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 6m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth c. 0.85m; int. H 0.3m) SW-N and by a scarp N-SW. The bank is covered with grass and moss. The hut site is cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope NE-SSE and built up (H 0.6m) externally at the W. The interior is level. There is another hut site (KE109-093001-) immediately to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
