The National Monuments Service's description

Within the E sector of an enclosure (KE109-092006-), 24m W of the E wall. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.8m N-S) defined by a curving drystone wall (T c. 0.5m; H c. 0.2m) with a straight N side (2.8m E-W), formed by the vertical face of outcropping rock. The lower course stones of the wall protrude above the bog. The hut site is built up (H 0.2m) externally from the downslope at S. There is another hut site (KE109-092003-) c. 32m to the W.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
