The National Monuments Service's description

In hill pasture, on a SE-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Baurearagh River. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.6m) defined by a drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.2-0.5m). Large, lower course stones in the wall protrude above the bog. A large boulder is incorporated into the perimeter at S. The hut site is cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope at NW and built up (H 0.5m) externally at SE, creating a gently sloping interior. Collapsed stones are scattered internally at NW and externally downslope at SE. A relict field boundary (KE109-064004-) is located c. 60m to the SE and there is another hut site (KE109-064003-) 40m to the SE.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
