The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating rough hill pasture, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a rectangular hut site (2.55m N-S; 1.7m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.4m) at E and S and by upright slabs (H 0.6m; 1m x 0.2m) at N and W which are set against the inner face of an earth and stone bank. There is an entrance (Wth 0.5m) at E. Outcropping rock externally abuts the S wall of the hut site. There is an enclosure (KE109-055007-) immediately to the N and another hut site (KE109-055005-) is 30m to the S.
