The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the ridge of N-facing slope, on the W bank of a tributary of the Glanrastel River. A linear stretch of a relict field wall (T c. 0.5m; H 0.6m) emerges from blanket bog at the E and extends in a general W direction for a distance of c. 44m and then disappears into bog. At c. 28m from the E end another field wall (L c. 12m) branches off to the NW and then disappears into the bog. There is a hut site (KE109-054002-) situated immediately NW of where these walls meet. The E-W field wall abuts the S arc of the hut site and the NW-SE wall abuts the NE arc. The relict walls are mainly collapsed and consist of large, rough lower course stones which protrude above the thin cover of blanket bog.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
