The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.3m) defined by the lower courses of a roughly built, drystone wall (T c. 0.5m; H 0.7m). The lower course stones protrude above the blanket bog. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered within the interior and along the perimeter. There is another hut site (KE109-048002-) immediately to the SE. Two other hut sites (KE109-048003-, KE109-048007-) are 3m to the SW and 35m to the NW, respectively. There are relict field boundaries (KE109-048008-) in the immediate vicinity.
