In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope, on the N bank of a tributary of the Glantrasna River. The remains of a rectangular hut site (2.6m NW-SE; 2m SW-NE) defined by a grass-covered drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) at NW, NE and SW and by the vertical face (H 0.7m) of outcropping rock at SE. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is scattered along the perimeter. There is another hut site (KE109-037005-) 20m to the W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
