The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a NW-facing slope, overlooking Kenmare Bay. The low remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.2m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog (D 0.3-0.6m) and extend to the ENE for c. 40m. A branch wall runs to the N for c. 40m and from there runs on into bog. There is an enclosure (KE109-001033-) c. 120m to the NE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
