The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a NW-facing slope with outcropping rock, overlooking Kenmare Bay. The remains of a linear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) protrude above the surface of the bog and, from a hut site (KE109-001031-) at the W, extend to the E for c. 34m. The remains of a separate wall extend to the SE from a nearby outcropping rock for 6m and then curve slowly to the S and SW for c. 32m. Rubble is scattered downslope from these walls.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
