The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a NW-facing slope, overlooking Kenmare Bay. The remains of a curvilinear stone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.4m) extend upslope to the E from a hut site (KE109-001004-) at W for a distance of c. 16m. From here, one wall branches off to the SW for c. 24m and another branches off to the NE for c. 35m. The main wall continues E for c. 52m and then curves to the NW for c. 50m. Rubble is scattered downslope from these walls.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
