The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking Kenmare Bay. A circular area (diam. 10.5m) defined by a scarp (H 0.95m) SW-NW, by irregularly spaced stones (T 0.7m; H 0.3m) which protrude from shallow bog NW-SSW and by a low grass-covered bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.1m) SSW-SW. The E portion of the level interior is cut (D 0.7m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Relict field boundaries (KE109-001021-) are 10m to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
