The National Monuments Service's description

This standing stone, not indicated on the OS maps, is located in a farmyard on the lower SE slopes of Cahernageeha, just W of the Coomnahorna river. About 100m to NE is a pair of standing stones (KE106-023001-), and 275m further NE is the four-stone row at Garroughl (KE106-126001-). The stone, of regular elevation, and with a rectangular basal plan, inclines towards S. It stands 2.5m high and its basal dimensions are .85m x .5m; NNW-SSE. Packing stones are visible at its base. During building works to the adjacent cottage c. 2006, the stone collapsed and was relocated to the garden of the house where it now stands beside a septic tank (see KE106-131001-).

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 155. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
