The National Monuments Service's description
This souterrain, not marked on the OS maps, is located at the S edge of a level area at the base of a cliff in rough mountain pasture which overlooks Kenmare Bay to S. The level area measures roughly 11m N-S 19m E-W, and is heavily overgrown. The souterrain, not now accessible, is stone-built and capped with roofing lintels (local information; Ó Cíobháin 1984a, 80-1).
