The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, in a sheltered hollow, on a N-facing slope overlooking a river valley. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.1m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.55m; H 0.8m) with a straight N side (2.8m N-S). The wall protrudes above the surface of the bog. Low, radially set stones were noted in its lower courses. There is an entrance (Wth 0.8m) at NE. An enclosure (KE103-041007-) adjoins this hut site externally at N and another hut site (KE103-041004-) adjoins this hut site at W. A relict field boundary (KE103-041001-) terminates at this cluster of sites.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
