The National Monuments Service's description

In the W half of an enclosure (KE102-074002-) and within a field system (KE102-074001-). The remains of an oval hut site (6m E-W; 5m N-S) defined by a stone wall (T 1.4m; H 0.4m) consisting of an inner and outer row of contiguous upright stones with a grass-covered rubble infill. The wall is best preserved NW-NE. There is an entrance break (Wth 0.9m) at E. The W portion of the level interior is elevated (H 0.9m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
