The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, on the NW-facing rocky slopes of Deelis Mountain. The remains of a rectangular hut site (5.3m NE-SW; 1.7m NW-SE) defined by a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 1.35m) at NE, NW and SW, and by the vertical face of outcropping rock at SE. A partially collapsed entrance (Wth 0.5m) is located at NW. There is a hut site (KE102-037003-) c. 6m to the NE and two other hut sites (KE102-037----, KE102-037001-) are c. 50m to the SE.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
