The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a break, at the foot of an E-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. A stretch of relict field wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) at W extends (L c. 60m) to the E and then curves gradually to the SE and S for a distance of c. 90m. The wall protrudes intermittently above the surface of the bog and many of its stones are set at right angles to the line of the wall.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
