The National Monuments Service's description
In the NE quadrant of a possible ecclesiastical enclosure (KE101-026001-). Access to this burial ground was not gained. It is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a rectangular burial ground (c. 30m NE-SW; c. 15m NW-SE) with a N-S field boundary crossing its E half. Only the portion to the W of the field boundary is indicated on the 1895-7 OS 6-inch map. An aerial photograph (GSIAP, V 49-50), taken in 1973, shows the burial ground covered with overgrowth.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
