The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a rocky S-facing slope. The remains of an oval hut site (3.1m E-W; 2m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.4-0.6m). The S portion of the interior is raised and the N portion is cut (D 1.1m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. The top of the bank is level with the upslope along the N arc where it is faced with rough stone and slabs. The entrance (Wth 0.7m) is at E. Loose stones are scattered around the interior.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
