The National Monuments Service's description
In woodland, on a S-facing slope. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.8m E-W; 1.8m N-S) defined by a poorly preserved, drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.5m). There is a possible entrance (Wth 0.6m) at the NE corner. This hut site may be associated with a roofless rectangular stone building which lies in the immediate vicinity to the SW.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
