The National Monuments Service's description

Not marked on the OS maps, this block-like standing stone is situated in a gently sloping field. It is regular in elevation and flat-topped. It stands 1.06m high, and measures .8m x .6m at base; NE-SW. At a height of .7m on its SW face is a small, incised Latin cross with slightly rounded terminals.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 208. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
