In boggy pasture less than 270m from the NW shore of Lough Currane. The foundations of a poorly preserved, overgrown hut of subtriangular plan KE098-084----.
A lintelled opening, 1.1m x 1.2m, to an inaccessible souterrain (KE098-084001-) is located within its interior.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1400. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
