The National Monuments Service's description

The circular enclosure marked at this location on the first edition of the OS map was levelled during land improvement operations in the 1930s (local information). Further reclamation was undertaken in the early 1990s. The site was located on a low ridge overlooking Lough Currane to S.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 807. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
