The National Monuments Service's description

Cutting through the N sector of the enclosure (KE098-002002-) is a modern E-W field boundary, on whose S side is a platform, trapezoidal in plan. This stone-built structure is entered through two erect slabs, set 1.2m apart, at SE.

The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 973. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
