The National Monuments Service's description

In 1943, 'two gallans, one measuring 5ft by 1ft by 6ins [1.52m x 0.3m x 0.15m] and the second embedded in the ground' were recorded on Michael Cronin's land (ITA). These stones, which were situated two fields to the NW of another possible standing stone-pair (KE097-047----), have not been located.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
