The National Monuments Service's description
Humpback road bridge (Wth 5.8m; long axis N-S) spanning the Roughty River c. 500m SW of Kilgarvan. Built of random rubble sandstone. Two semicircular arches with tall abuttments and central pier; high pointed cutwater on upstream (E) side of pier appears to extend to c. 1m below the top of the parapet. Parapets and body of bridge heavily overgrown. Underside of bridge has been underpinned using concrete and the parapet coping is also of concrete.
