The National Monuments Service's description

In hill pasture, on the lower SE-facing slopes of Gullaba Hill. The remains of an oval hut site (3.1m E-W; 1.6m N-S) defined by a roughly built drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.7m). The walls and the interior are overgrown with ferns.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
