The National Monuments Service's description

In the SE quadrant of an enclosure (KE094-015001-). The remains of an oval hut site (3.85m E-W; 2.15m N-S) defined by a partly collapsed, drystone, rubble wall (T 0.9m; H 0.9m). The hut site internally abuts the enclosure along the SE arc. Access to the hut site is via the SE entrance to the enclosure. The hut site is indicated on the 1895 OS 6-inch map as a roughly square area (dims c. 4m).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
