The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A roughly U-shaped stretch of a collapsed field wall adjoins the S side of the E-W townland boundary between Cappagh and Gortlahard. The relict field wall (T c. 0.5m; H 0.4m) extends downslope to the S of the townland boundary for c. 70m, then curves in a roughly E direction for c. 40m before extending N for c. 80m to join the townland boundary once more. The field wall is of drystone construction with the basal stones protruding from the peat. Some upright slabs are at right angles to the line of the wall. Extending from the S extremity of this field wall is another that runs S for c. 25m, at which point it disappears into deeper bog. Five hut sites (KE093-085001-, KE093-085002-, KE093-085004-, KE093-085005-, KE093-085006-), a relict field boundary (KE093-085007-) and another field system (KE093-085003-) are in the immediate vicinity.
