The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on the shoulder of a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A boulder (1.35m x 1m; T 0.55m) stands just S of the centre of a multiple-stone circle (KE093-050001-) and is surrounded by a series of set stones (dims. L 0.3-0.6m; T 0.25-0.35m; H 0.15-0.45m), six of which form an outer circular arrangement (diam. 2.8m). No support-stones are visible. An assortment of small stones, including some quartz, is scattered on the ground nearby.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
