The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on an E-W ridge c. 750m S of the Roughty River. The group consists of three standing stones in an E-W alignment. The westernmost stone (H 1.3m; 1.4m x 0.65m) is roughly rectangular in plan and shape and is orientated NE-SW. The middle stone (H 2.45m; 1.6m x 0.5m) which bears an ogham inscription (see KE093-026002-), stands 5m to the E and is orientated E-W. It is roughly rectangular in plan and shape with an irregularly tapering top. The ogham inscription, parts of which are very eroded, occurs along its SE edge beginning c. 0.4m and extending to c. 1.65m above ground level. Macalister (1902, 121, no. 115) read the inscription as: LUGUN ILOCI DMAQ I ALLOTO. The easternmost stone (H 1.2m; 0.8m x 0.65m), which is 1.5m from the middle stone, is roughly rectangular in plan and shape and is orientated N-S. There is a five-stone circle (KE093-087----) c. 220m to the SSW, a stone row (KE093-088----) c. 300m to the SE and a radial-cairn (KE093-025002-) c. 400m to the SW. (Ó Nualláin 1984b, 75; Ruggles 1999, 193, CKR44a; 226, List 5, note 2)
