The National Monuments Service's description

Graves recorded that 'a short portion of a spiral' was found on a small stone in a fence near KE091-049---- (1877, 288). This stone has not been located.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 377. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

In rough pasture, on an E-facing slope, overlooking Ardsheelhane River valley N->E->S, yet trees on field boundary obscure the view. Graves recorded that 'a short portion of a spiral' was found on a small stone in a fence near KE091-049---- (1877, 288). This stone has not been located, possibly due to many of the stones in this field boundary being moss covered.
