This standing stone is located in rough pasture on the N slopes of Brackloon, overlooking the Ardsheelhane river. It is a regular block, standing 1.08m high and measuring .73m x .25m at base; NNE-SSW.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 183. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
