The National Monuments Service's description
In boggy pasture immediately S of the effluence of the Oweveen river from Lough Iskanamacteery. The collapsed remains of a drystone circular hut with an entrance at W. A U-shaped annex abuts the site at W. D: 3.3m x 2.5m. H: 1.3m.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1276. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
