The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the foot of the W facing slopes of Coomcallee mountain, this fulacht fiadh is situated in rocky land 18m N of a spring well and 6m N of a hut (KE079-047----). It survives as a well-preserved horseshoe-shaped mound, measuring 12.4m N-S x 15.2m E-W and 1.3m high. At its S edge, facing the spring, is a crescent-shaped depression, 3.9m x 3m x .9m deep. Disturbance of the mound's surface at W and N reveals that is is composed of fire-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil.
