The National Monuments Service's description

A large quantity of stone occupies the interior of the site, some of which, occurring in irregular heaps, appears to be field clearance debris. Traces of a possible hut (KE089-029001-) survive in the S part of the site, represented as a sod-covered arc of stony composition which is 1.3m wide and .5m high.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 581. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
