The National Monuments Service's description
This standing stone, not marked on the OS maps, is situated on level land W of Aghatubrid mountain. Of tapered elevation, it stands 1.27m high and measures .32m thick at base; E-W. Its E side is incorporated into a modern N-S field boundary.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 190. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
