The National Monuments Service's description
This souterrain, not marked on the OS maps, is situated in pasture close to the E bank of the Ballynahow river. A collapsed lintel completely blocks its entrance, which is located .7m below ground level. Directly above the entrance are remnants of drystone walling which may have formed part of an associated structure. The souterrain occurs within a roughly circular platform, 12m in diameter, which rises .8m above ground level at W.
