The National Monuments Service's description

Within an area of mature coniferous forestry which had been partially felled prior to development of a nearby wind farm. According to Carroll (2006), clear felling revealed the remains of a possible, rectangular, drystone-walled hut (c. 4.85m E-W; 3.8m N-S). An off-centre doorway (Wth c. 1.3m) is visible in the E wall. The walls of the possible hut survive to varying heights but on average measure between 0.6m and 0.9m.
