The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a SE-facing slope, at the head of the valley of the Roughty River. A circular area (17.2m N-S; 16.2m E-W) defined by a grass-covered drystone wall (T 2.4m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.8m). The interior slopes gently down to the SE. Field-clearance rubble is piled up externally against the wall at intermittent intervals around the perimeter.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
