The National Monuments Service's description

The easternmost of three contiguous hut sites (see KE084-024001-, KE084-024003-) in the NE corner of an enclosure (KE084-024----). The W wall of this hut site is abutted by the adjoining hut site (KE084-024003-) to the W. The remains of this subrectangular hut site (6m N-S; 3.4m E-W) are defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.7m). There is an entrance (Wth 0.7m) in the E wall, situated off-centre to the S. This entrance is opposite a similar break (Wth 0.75m) in the W wall which accesses the adjoining hut site (KE084-024003-). There are rushes in the interior and loose stones are scattered around the hut site, both internally and externally. The collapsed N-S drystone wall of the enclosure (KE084-024----) extends S from the SW corner of this hut site. There is another enclosure (KE084-024002-) c. 20m to the N.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
