The National Monuments Service's description
In boggy pasture, on a very gentle SSW-facing slope. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) is visible in an aerial photograph (GSIAP, V 289-90). This possible rath is not visible at ground level. It is probably one of the two raths (see KE084-017----) recorded in this townland in the 1940s (SMCK).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
