The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the crest of a ridge, overlooking the valley of Owbaun River to the SE. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.6m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 1m; H 0.4-0.8m). The E portion of the interior is raised (H 0.4m) and the W portion is cut (D 0.8m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. There is a scatter of loose stones around the interior. Two hut sites (KE084-003005-, KE084-003006-) are adjoined to the S and E arcs of this hut site, respectively. Another hut site (KE084-003004-) is 25m to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
